Over six months since its launch, the London Plan sets new standards and requirements for those involved in the construction of new buildings in the capital.
Now, as part of our program of education and support for the construction sector, we’re hosting a new webinar series to explore the detail of the plan.
What you need to know;
The London Plan, which was implemented on March 2nd, brought in tighter accessibility rules for the capital, as well as setting standards on air quality, fire safety, sustainability and noise in new construction projects in London.
Among the key changes, it provides the requirement for evacuation lifts in residential buildings and introduced the need for fire statements in London planning applications. Fire statements are now a requirement for all tall residential buildings in England under the new Planning Gateway One.
